Civil lawyers have to do the job that prosecutors are too understaffed, lazy, or scared to undertake. Today Valerie Plame sued Cheney, Rove, Libby, et. al. in civil court for destroying her career. You go Valerie!
My favorite was the response of one of Rove's minions (no I'm not making this up):
"Without even having had a chance to review the complaint, it is clear that the allegations are absolutely and utterly without merit."
Are you fucking kidding me!!! I like to read the complaint before I give public statements bashing the content. This is the worst sort of politician answer because he doesn't really want to comment on the content so he says he hasn't read it but then he tries to have it both ways by saying that he has somehow, perhaps through osmosis, discerned that the content of the complaint is frivilous. This seems to be a popular techinique in the "anti-trial lawyer" crowd. I have hate!!!!

I read (without having read the complaint) that the allegation made was: "Karl Rove is awesome!"
